The London Design Festival during September will reunite in the trendy city some of the most exclusive design events and fairs where you can visit and see the new collections of the best design brands in the world. This time, from 21th to 24th September will happen the first edition of Luxury Made, a new concept for luxury design lovers.
Behind the organization of this new event is the renowned group Media 10. The owners of the world’s most influential design magazines, such as Icon Magazine, Grand Designs and On Office, they also become one of the leading players in the event industry with design events like 100% Design, Grand Designs Live, The Ideal Home Show and Clerkenwell Design Week.
According to the organization, the new concept of “Luxury Made” is a highly selective design event centered on the luxury interior design market, demonstrating paramount examples of craftsmanship across decorative and luxury furniture”.
Besides the focus on the luxury design market, Luxury Made has a lot more to offer. This design event will happen at Olympia’s Pillar Halls, which has been closed to the public for over 20 years. The Pillar Hall seems to be the perfect place for an event like this. The extravagant banquet room has Corinthian columns, demonstrating the grandeur of magnificent Victorian architecture.
William Knight, the event director, says that “By staging a beautifully produced and highly selective showcase of some of the best contemporary and decorative brands in a stunning central location, it responds to an expanding market in need of a new high quality event and visitor experience”.
Luxury Made will bring together a stunning selection of the best design brands of the industry, from 21th to 24th of September, in West Kensington, during London Design Festival 2016.
First staged in 2003, the London Design Festival is one of London’s most expected events by design lovers, an exquisite playground that will return this year from the 17th to the 25th September 2016. Building on London’s existing design activity, the concept is to create an annual event that would promote the city’s creativity, gathering the greatest thinkers, practitioners, retailers, educators or just lovers to deliver the greatest celebration of design.
