Flatiron Building

This peculiar triangular building has been one of the most famous. Built over a century ago, in 1902, it is a true New York landmark and one of most famous worldwide. At the time Flatiron Building was built it was thought it would collapse, as the unusual shape faced strong winds, but it did not and it even appeared in several films such as Spider-Man.

Chrysler Building

One of the most iconic buildings in New York’s skyline. The Chrysler Building, an Art-Deco skyscraper, was for 364 days the tallest building until the Empire State Building was built. An interesting fact is that Walter Chrysler funded the entire construction alone.

It is no longer the tallest building in New York, but it was for a while. There is a great observation deck on the top that you must no miss out.

St. Patrick’s Cathedral

It’s located right in the middle of the action, on 5th Avenue. It was built in 1865 and has gone through intensive and costly renovations from 2012 to 2015.

The Ansonia

The Ansonia, built as a hotel is certainly not very known, but it’s a unique building in New York’s skyline. Nowadays it houses $12 million condos and rented units. It’s located on the Upper West Side. We think this would look great on pictures!
