While January was all about refreshing colour, in February the Most Popular Rooms you were drawn to neutrals.

Iconic photographs of New York greet visitors in the foyer of this Manhattan apartment, created by architects Peter Shelton and Lee F. Mindel. The plasterwork ceiling and picture lights were designed by the duo’s firm, Shelton, Mindel & Assoc.
In designer Ray Booth and TV executive John Shea’s Nashville kitchen, Roman Thomas pendant lights are situated above the Ray Booth–designed island, Ann Sacks tile was used for the backsplash, the sink fittings are by Kohler, and the stools are by BDDW; a painting by Louise Crandell surmounts the bar cabinet, at left, which was devised by Booth and is clad in an Edelman leather.
The kitchen of designers Nate Berkus and Jeremiah Brent’s New York apartment is outfitted with subway tile from Home Depot.
Antique Tunisian tile from Exquisite Surfaces makes a lively backsplash in Gisele Bündchen and Tom Brady’s L.A. kitchen, which is appointed with Formations pendant lights, marble countertops from Compas Architectural Stone, custom-made alder cabinetry, an oak island, and a Wolf range.
In real-estate maven Kurt Rappaport’s Malibu residence, the master bath’s tub, which has Dornbracht fittings, was designed by Mitchell and fabricated by Zeolla Marble Co.; the pillow on the lounge chair is by Hermès.
Everything in this apartment at 432 Park, the Rafael Viñoly–designed New York City skyscraper, is for sale. “The palette is very much about not feeling like you’re trying to upstage the view,” says designer Kelly Behun.
This Maine compound renovated by designer Suzanne Kasler and architect Les Cole, the pool house kitchen features Urban Archaeology pendant lights, a Thermador range, sink fittings by Michael S. Smith for Kallista, and counter stools from Walters. The walls are painted in a Benjamin Moore blue.
In the baronial entry hall of Tommy and Dee Hilfiger’s Connecticut castle, an antique iron chandelier hangs over an 1840s Gothic Revival library table and Bullard-designed stools, which comes together in a Robert Kime print with a Samuel & Sons fringe trim.
