Ana Proença and Célia Mestre founded the studio Spacemakers in 2005, in Lisbon, Portugal. Their goal was to provide the best design solutions to fill spaces with an environment of high aesthetic standards and functional quality. This amazing duo of architects and interior designers idealized this outstanding project to be the refuge of a family during the weekends. The owners perspective showed that this space should be contemporary yet with a vintage touch due to the integration of several mid-century pieces that were part of the owner’s private collection, that incorporated amazing pieces by Charles Eames.
The SINATRA floor lamp has an important role in the décor strengthing and improving the elegance and simplicity of the room.
The project was idealized and designed very carefully from the choice of finishes and noble materials to the furniture selection of the rooms. The house was built on a single floor and it distinguishes itself by modern architecture and clean and simple lines, featuring large spaces and stunning lighting fixtures.
The dining area of the home has a set of chairs that belonged to the owner’s family which fits perfectly with the dining table, having a golden structure and finished in ironwood, that was designed by Atelier Spacemakers.
The Pendant Lamp COLTRANE designed by DelightFULL has minimalist lines and black and gold finishes and emerges as an element that, besides being functional, it is a decorative and sculptural object that stands out for its simplicity. A true work of art!
The game and cinema room opens to the living room where we can be impressed by the Veuve Clicquot snooker table, as well as the DUKE Suspension Lamp designed by DelightFULL which is a remarkable piece that gives a new sensation of scale. Bringing to the room a totally new sense of style.
