Happening in Milan at the same time as iSaloni and part of the main event, Milan Design Week, is the Super Design Show.
This design exhibition counts with a lot of diversity, from theme projects to museum like exhibitions, from independent exhibitions to large consolidated companies, we can find a bit of everything. The themes are also very diverse, from industrial design, to automotive and technology, from artefacts to textile and ornaments.
All of this happens at SUPERSTUDIO, one of the most iconic places for design in Milan. Check some of the exhibitors.
AGC Asahi Glass (Japan)
AGC Asahi Glass designs unique glass works by Jin Kuramoto. At Super Design Show you will be able to enoy the “feel of glass” on the TOUCH installation. An extremely curious exhibition that will tingle your senses and surprise you. Their purpose is to unleash the true potential of glass.
Beyond, the trainers that break fashion rules, and the students of NABA (Milan’s New Fine Arts Academy) were brought together and created this innovative and creative project for Milan Design Week. The team came up with a collection of unisex statemente trainers that break all the rules.
HENZEL STUDIO (Sweden)
Henzel Studio and the Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts present a groundbreaking collection of handmade rugs and pillows. The subject of the pieces is Warhol’s most iconic worj inspired by Marilyn Monroe.
StoneLab Design (Italy)
StoneLab Design, an experienced company in the natural stone sector, expanded their activities to lighting, furnitutre and accesories and the end result are exclusive pieces thar will be timeless, but always contemporary.
styleGREEN is a company that creates stunning green spaces in urban indoor areas, it could be in an offfixce, in a hall or on your own home.The techniques they use allow the plants to have a long-lasting durability. And the best thing about it? The color of the year 2017, greenery, is obviously the main color in their designs.
