Timeless elegance at Maison et Objet 2017: Antonili Italy

The new installation designed by Alessandro La Spada for Antolini at Maison et Objet 2017 is all about design variations showcasing different textures and refined details for a stylish setting. The expressive beauty of the natural stone is expanding throughout the space by creating a set of fascinating screens which divide the different areas with a contemporary touch.

The kitchen, the bathroom and the working area have been distributed within the space by setting up a dialogue between the volume and the space, giving a hint of timeless allure.

The contrasting effects which juxtapose the textures with the golden details, such as the Lighting Clan Ring 60 and Ring 80, add a touch of glamour to the overall atmosphere.

The Quartzite Michelangelo plays as protagonist in the kitchen area where the functional top is making a bold statement. The floor is made in Bianco Lasa Covelano “Vena Oro” reflecting with its bright surface the objects’ magnificence as well as the vertical walls’ presence.

Inside the bathroom area, the walls, which are made in Fusion Wow “Light”, are the perfect backdrop for the top which seems to be floating over the floor.

Thanks to an interplay of soft nuances such as bronze, brown, beige and light blue, the walls, enhance the highly expressive design of the natural stone.

MATERIALS USED:

Bianco Lasa/Covelano “Vena Oro”

This is the real essence of marble: uniform, compact, with crystalline fine grain.

The marble Bianco Lasa/Covelano, from the Alps of Val Venosta, is one of the most valuable in the world.

It takes on a warm and even more precious tone in the Vena Oro type.

Fusion Wow “Dark”

It seems to have stolen its colours from the depths of distant oceans, where reddish coral full of charm and mystery are entwined: this is Fusion Wow “Dark”, a quartzite that captivates every observer, engulfing them in its dappled blue.

This wonderful natural stone is now offered in a world exclusive by Antolini.

For universes in continuous development like those of architecture and interior design, the ability to offer exceptional new “tools” in the service of creativity is fundamental.

So here is a sophisticated and precious material that Antolini is adding to its wide range of natural stones: it’s Fusion Wow “Light”, a quartzite that is perfect for adorning the most fascinating projects.

This wonderful natural stone, unique for its colours and stunning veining, is now offered in a world exclusive by Antolini.

Fusion Wow “Multicolor”

Like an encompassing tropical fragrance, it brings to mind the intense colours of ripe papayas, the pleasurable aromas of spices and fragrances from distant lands: this surprising natural stone, appreciated throughout the world and now offered in a world exclusive by Antolini, speaks to us of travel and adventure.

This multicolor quartzite is able to amplify spaces, generating volumes and bringing its personality to even the most ambitious projects.

Warm colours run in flowing lines, joining in a pleasing anthology of hues and shades, like an artist’s palette.

Quartzite Michelangelo

A sunset filled with highlights is depicted in the apparently random, yet extraordinarily harmonious veining of this natural stone. Like an eternal meeting between ancestral forces, the sky and the earth seem to combine in the warm and cold hues of Quartzite Michelangelo: as if created during a night time storm, shades of blue stand out, piercing the dusty reddish earth.

This natural stone is a force where time stands still, suspended beyond space and this present moment.

Its name is a homage to the artist who made sculpture an amazing tool of communication, an exciting universal language, able to transcend eras and cultures.
